Murfdog

I am the talent behind the "Murfdog", a persona developed for me by friends of mine many years ago. The "Murfdog" is kind of a cool cat who knows where it's at and has few of his own assumptions about knowing anything at all, the true dichotomy of the real space we all inhabit every day. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Dennis Murphy. You can catch my show every Friday from 10am - 1pm at 89.9FM KCRH Hayward and out on the web at www.KCRHradio.com.
Originally from Southern California, I transplanted to the Bay Area in the mid 90's during the early stages of the dotcom phenomena while working in the Aerospace industry. Throughout my career I have successfully developed my talents in various verticals which include News Media, Telecommunications, Real Estate, Human Resources, Office Design Space as well as Residential and Commercial Security.
Radio Broadcasting as a career is the perfect groove and I have often been encouraged by friends, family and strangers to make it a vocation choice for many years. So when the opportunity finally presented itself in the summer of 2007, I decide to investigate the possibilities and realized quickly that my career choice as a "Voiceover Actor" is a cross platform talent utilized in film, commercials, animation and as familiar as ambient background airport drone "If you notice suspicious unattended baggage please notify security immediately", I am king of the world!
Attending Chabot College as a part-time student for almost three years I have developed a number of great friendships and solid alliances. With my recent appointment as the Underwriting Director for KCRH 89.9FM, I have been awarded with one of the most prestigious positions in the student staff of KCRH having been honored with the responsibility of creating financing for the station as well as molding the KCRH 89.9FM brand for our audience.
