Professor Chad Mark Glen is the head of the Mass Communications Radio & TV Broadcasting Department at Chabot College in the San Francisco, Bay Area.  He has three degrees in communications.  He received his Associates of Arts degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Chabot College in Hayward California.  Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University, graduating at the top of his class, Summa Cume Laude.  And he has a Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from SFSU.

Professor Glen is an award winning and Emmy nominated television producer, and was a television network news reporter and field producer.  He has also worked on such shows as The NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, the Today Show, and Geraldo.  He has hosted a nationally syndicated TV talk show, and does free-lance work as a video/TV producer and communications & media consultant throughout the United States and Europe.  He was the Executive Producer of “On The Spot,” a 30-minute TV talk show that puts people and issues On The Spot.  He also executive produced a 30-minute TV newscast.  In addition to his television experience, Glen is co-author of a handbook on radio station operations and has won state and national awards as a public speaker and speech/performance coach.

According to Glen, "Life is about communicating.  Being able to communicate to the masses is a wonderful opportunity to touch people's lives in a positive way.  I have the privilege of communicating to the masses of students who will then communicate what they have learned to an even greater audience.  Without communication, we have nothingness."
